When I first moved to Shatterford in Worcestershire, Dom very kindly let me put my artwork in his pub which he and his team actively market. As a result he has been responsible for
countless sales and commissions my whole entrance into the overseas retreat market by hooking me up with some amazing people business collaborations with musicians and brewers providing top notch food to my Arley guests.
So thank you Dom! I owe you and your team so much.
And the important lessons from this- If you’re an artist trying to make their way out there… the virtual world is important but you can’t beat good old fashioned face to face conversation!
Be creative in thinking about your shop front as you don’t have to take the traditional gallery route!
Be open to new ideas and adventures… enjoy the ride!!
