Whether you are a beginner or more advanced artist, my workshops will take your artwork to the next level.
Right in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, close by the bank of the River Severn, Arley Studios presents the ideal setting for your artistic journey.
All artist’s materials are supplied on the courses, allowing you to focus solely on developing your skills and immersing yourself in creativity. Refreshments, Wi-Fi and parking are included with all of the classes, with the added benefit of a fine dining experience on the weekend retreats.

Course description
Big cats have long been a favourite subject of mine to paint and I’ll be running a very special 2 day Big Cat workshop at the spectacular International Watercolour Masters Festival at Lilleshall Hall, TF19 9AT
I’ll be teaching you how to create a gloriously rich colour palette using just four pigments in a steady paced step by step workshop; during which you’ll get to create two majestic creatures using a range of expressive watercolour techniques.
You’ll also find out more about how to choose a good reference photo, how to combine colours effectively, how to loosen up your brush work and how to fix mistakes.
The course is suitable for both beginners and improvers alike and is delivered in a warm, friendly atmosphere and at a steady pace. These courses have always proved very popular and often sell out, so book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

Ideally located in Arley, close to the beautiful River Severn, my Art Studios are surrounded by countryside and woodland offering panoramic river views.
The studios provide a light, airy space perfect for creating your artwork! Tea, coffee and refreshments are on tap all day with parking on site.
