Big announcement! Explore, create and unwind in Spain

Following the sell out retreats in South Africa, I’m very excited to tell you about a brand new art retreat that’s taking place next year in Andalusia, Southern Spain, 29th June - July 6th 2024.

Spaces are limited to just 16 (only 5 places left) There's no experience necessary to join me on this trip. Just the desire to explore, unwind and create!

The art retreat is hosted by Uptrek and will take place in the breathtakingly beautiful region of Andalusia, Southern Spain, right in the heart of a nature reserve, surrounded by the awe-inspiring biodiversity and landscape of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park.

This is a dream come true for me - instructing a handful of creative people, sharing exciting techniques, visiting the most inspiring medieval towns and getting up close with some of the indigenous species of animals and plants that can be found in the area.

Opportunities to Explore

The price of the retreat includes amongst other things: chef made gourmet food, excursions to some of the most beautiful white towns in the area, including the stunning Medieval town of Ronda; a wine tasting experience in the spectacular nearby town of Setenil and a guided walk through the nearby nature reserve which ends at El Gastor, a village noted for its flower laden balconies. Space to Create!

Back at the Villa there is an huge, air conditioned, dedicated art space, where we can paint in comfort, exploring a whole host of expressive techniques to depict animals, flowers, white buildings and everything that inspires you during your stay in Spain. You will go home with a collection of work that will serve as a lasting reminder of a wonderful experience.

A Chance to Unwind, Reflect and Share Ideas

And if that isn’t enough to tempt you, we have private exclusive use of the entire estate, where there are 5 swimming pools, gardens to explore and a tennis court to enjoy some downtime.

One aspect that I love about this venue is that it offers the versatility of both private and shared spaces. The estate offers single occupancy bedrooms for quiet times but there is also an abundance of communal areas to get to know each other and share ideas.

Covid guarantee

**If the retreat is cancelled due to COVID-19, other force majeure events, or circumstances out of UpTrek's and/or the instructor's control, UpTrek will let you know as soon as possible, refund the total cost of the retreat, and help you find another option for your vacation. If the retreat takes place, but you cannot attend due to COVID-19 related circumstances outside your control, please notify them as early as possible and UpTrek will refund the total cost of the retreat.
