Art Retreats Featured In The Independent

It seems that many of us love the idea of a fully immersive art retreat as a way of getting it away from it all, relieving stress and embracing our creative side. I gave an interview to Lucy Thackray, Deputy Travel Editor of The Independent last October who had spotted the growing need for these kinds of activities. At the time, I was just about to launch my first ever South African Art Safari at the stunning Kariega Game Reserve. Six months on and I'm delighted to say that we now have 2 fully booked retreats planned for May. I am so thankful the artists and students who have signed up to this experience; the majority of the money will be going to help fund rewilding and repopulating work in the area ... so it's win, win for all concerned. Thank you also to Trish and Phil Liggett of Freedom To Roam Adventures and Lindy Sutherland of the Kariega Foundation for making this possible.

I love the idea of art safaris in which we are also helping to raise funds. Who knows where it could take us next! If you'd like to go in the reserve list for this or for any other future event, please email me on info@dy3.co.uk and I'll pop your details on the system
